From the Desk of the NGFFL Commissioner, July 2014

Warm Greetings to all! Summer time is here! It seems that as the sun beckons us to come out and play, our lives get even busier.  We have a lot going on and with just over 90 days before Gay Bowl XIV there is even more to come.

Our new and improved website has finally been launched. We appreciate the work of web designer Steve Cramsie from the San Diego American Flag Football League. The website is a work in progress and  will be updated periodically, so be on the lookout.

The Chicago Pride Bowl continues to be a success thanks to the endless work of the CMSA volunteers and new Tournament Director Matt Herek. Congratulations to the Washington Generals and the Mile High Mafia for winning their divisions. The NGFFL thanks all of the volunteers, sponsors, referees, and participating teams for making Pride Bowl Possible.

There are a couple of new additions to the NGFFL Board. This past month James Iwamiya form the NYGFL and Thurman Williams from the DCGFFL joined the team. James will serve as the Director of Communications and Thurman will be the Director of Operations and Special Projects. To learn more about James and Thurman please visit www.ngffl.com/league/BoardofDirectors

Best regards,
Jared Garduno
