Hello!
We are with the Denver Mile High Bowl Planning Committee and we wanted to extend our warmest invitation to you and the entire National Gay Flag Football community to attend the inaugural Mile High Bowl in Denver this August. We have prepared a tournament description below but we wanted to be sure to let you know that if you have any questions don't hesitate to contact us! Additionally, if you would send any interested players our way or might know of a potential captain, we would be most appreciative if you could put us in contact with that person (or persons). The Planning Committee sincerely wants to extend a helping hand to any team that is interested in coming! If there are some obstacles preventing your team from coming out, let us know and we'll see what we can do! Hope to see you in August!
Tournament Description
The Mile High Bowl will debut in Denver August 6-9th (games on Sat/Sun), featuring 12 open division teams and 8 women's teams from around the country. Coming off its 14th season, and less than three years removed from hosting Gay Bowl XII, the Denver Gay & Lesbian Flag Football League (DGLFFL) is ready to roll out the rainbow carpet and showcase our fun, friendly and flourishing flag football community. The host hotel (The Warwick) and nightly events (Charlie's Denver, Xbar, Tracks and The Wrangler) will all be centrally located in Denver's Uptown gayborhood. Games will be played nearby on well maintained fields at beautiful City Park. If you've crossed paths with any of Denver's many traveling flag football teams at other national tournaments, you know our players are friendly both on and off the field. Don't miss your chance to meet the rest of our incredible flag football community, which is pulling out all the stops to guarantee you a great time. Come join us and experience it for yourself!
Registration fees are $550 per team until June 1, and $600 after that. Check out our website at denvermilehighbowl.com. See you in August!
Thanks again, and remember we are committed to doing our best to bring out any team that wants to come. Where there's a will, there's a way!
